Fall Madness

Soccer season has started. Unfortunately, this year the girls will not be playing together. This means that Sydney has soccer practice on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Reilly has soccer practice on Mondays and Wednesdays, and will also be playing fall baseball on Wednesday nights, with practices on Sundays.
Steve and I will be playing kickball with the Schweddy's again...I'm really looking forward to this.
The girls will play soccer games and tournaments on Saturdays and Sundays. Since Sydney is duel-rostered, she will be playing on two teams...one of which plays in St. Louis.
Griffin has decided that he no longer wants to play soccer...he doesn't like to run...so we are looking into signing him up for karate. That's going to be fun to try to fit into our schedule, but we've got to get him interested in something physical this fall.
Just thought I'd share our fall madness with you. TTFN

I hear your madness! We have two boys in soccer with practices Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, (and Sunday games) team gymnastics and ballet for gymnasts for my 9 year old on Mon, Wed, and Thurs, hip hop and pre point ballet for my 11 year old on Tuesdays and 2 classes on Thursdays, Gymnastics meets every other Saturday and church on Sunday.... oh, and I'm sure I'll need to schedule therapy sessions for Fridays, to avoid being commited from all the business! ~Karlie

Good grief!!! How on earth can you keep track of all this? Makes me tired just reading it. While I've alway regretted not having kids reading things like this make me second guess that.

If you can find a spare minute try to get some rest!!

Enjoy the weekly trips to St Louis. We did that last year for the first time w/ Connor.

I understand juggling schedules-we have four playing soccer-HS, Competitive & Rec as well as dancing 2 nights a week with the girls!

No one in the family plays soccer (although they all tried it), but basketball starts soon for my son and my daughter plays fall softball. My baby will be starting ballet this month too. My question is, when do you have time for family dinner/evening time between your respective schedules? We are dealing with this right now and it is so frustrating because everything goes so much smoother with our family when we have a "non-activity" evening, you know? Oh, my baby will turn 9 in October. You're me one year behind or I'm you one year ahead! LOL.
