You have what is called....Integrity.
Does yours always wave back?
well then... do you ever flip them the bird? just wondering. LOLi don't wave at em either. they always look grouchy to me anyhow.
Oh my gosh how I relate to this!! It's like, if I wave at him he'll think it's okay to stop me instead of the car behind me because he "knows" me! Am I paranoid or what! Yet, I always wave - he's a volunteer who deserves to be appreciated.DW
Alpha Dude- LOL...I don't know about that, but I try!Amy- Yes...that's what makes my dilema more difficultsoulmange- Nope...this one is rather perky. I never flip anyone the bird...always afraid I'll see them at church.Crazy Deb- We must be talking about the same crossing guard! He ALWAYS stops me...or rather jumps out in front of me and makes me slam on the brakes:0
You got it!!
Oh I love that Mill Creek crossing guard. I feel like he takes his job so seriously and takes it on with such passion. Maybe I am the only one that likes him. ?!? :)
I like him, I just don't want to wave to him everyday:)
Seriously?I always like that the crossing guard waves to me. I wave back. Sometimes, I go around the block.
mist- lol!Deb and HE-I dig the hat the crossing guard wears in the winter...it's cute!
i missed the "but i do part" last time. you already know what my daughter would call me for that! LOLand i guess i don't have to worry about the church part ... not that i flip the bird..that often...but really i have NEVER done it to a crossing gaurd. that's almost sacrilegious sorta.anyhow...i can't sleep , so i thought i'd jump on and see if you were writing anything new.have a good one.
I do. It makes me feel like a local celebrity. I pretend that I am the mayor.
I love the deep, dark hermit in you.
Hi. You don't need to approve this comment for publication. I was just wondering where in MO you are. We have a Mill Creek school here, but I don't think we're in the same town (I'm in Belton). I think I know where you are (Columbia?) because I Googled "Mill Creek School MO". Anyway, I've been wondering for a while. :) You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I wonder what that dear man would think if he knew what everyone was writing. He is a good guy but like, EE, sometimes I just don't want to wave after being around people all day. You can tell he loves what he does.
You crack me up, Mist!Blogarita- We're almost neighbors! Are we about an hour and a half away from each other??Yeah, I'm in Columbia...small world!
What a dilemma. Will he notice if I don't wave? Will he get mad and let other cars go through but stop me? Those guys wield lots of power! My thought? Resist the urge and wave with gusto!Gayle
Ok, know what this crazy blog did to me??? I drove by him today and waved then cracked up because he didn't even look my way!!!
Oh, we don't have one of those at my sons' school, but teachers do direct traffic there. I just ignore them; they don't wave a me, either.
